Objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Awas Gramin Yojana
- Only Indian rural families will be eligible to apply to get the benefit.
- The minimum and maximum age of the applicants is 18 years and 55 years respectively.
- No member in the family should be in government job or taxpayer.
- The annual income of the applicant family should be less than Rs 1,80,000.
- Only the main members of the family are considered eligible to apply.
- Families who have not availed the benefit of housing scheme earlier will be eligible to apply.
- Families living in slums and kutcha houses will be eligible to apply.
